SNC AUS™ was founded in 2024 as a wholly owned subsidiary of U.S.-based SNC to accelerate growth across INDOPACOM and better serve customers in Australia. Based in Adelaide, South Australia, SNC AUS enhances SNC’s global presence alongside its operations in the United States and the United Kingdom, aligning with the AUKUS trilateral security partnership.

We specialise in providing premiere intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance (ISR) services, ensuring true coalition interoperability through compatible open system architectures and trusted solutions. SNC AUS focuses on delivering advanced capabilities in the Australian defence sector, including common electronic warfare (EW) architecture, digital radio frequency (RF), Digital Grid™, and uncrewed platforms and sensors.

    Josh Rooney

    MANAGING DIRECTOR, SNC AUS

    Josh brings 27+ years of leadership experience from the Royal Australian Air Force, driving large-scale programs and fostering international collaborations. His exceptional skills in relationship building and strategic vision have led to numerous partnerships worldwide. He is extremely adept in international engagement and relationship building with business partners across the globe to coalesce around a single shared vision and drive strategy. As an accomplished aviator with 7,000+ flight hours, Josh also holds advanced degrees in Systems Engineering (Specialising in EW), Project Management, and is pursuing a master’s degree in business administration.

    Tim Owings

    EXECUTIVE VP, SNC

    Tim oversees operations across the Mission Solutions and Technologies (MST) portfolio, including three business units, and three subsidiaries in US, UK, and AUS. He leads a technical team focused on advanced technologies like electronic warfare, JADC2 software, and A-ISR solutions. With over 30 years of executive and technical experience, including 23 years with the U.S. Army, Tim brings extensive expertise in aerospace engineering and leadership. He holds a Bachelor’s in Aerospace Engineering and an MBA from Auburn University and has received prestigious awards for his service.

    Lisa Godenick

    STRATEGY SVP, SNC

    Lisa brings over 20 years of experience in driving growth and innovation across the defense and commercial industry. Her experience spans from business strategy, company startups, and business development, to marketing and international support. With a successful track record at SNC and 16 years at ManTech International, she excels in strategic initiatives, growth, and technology advancement. Lisa holds a Masters Degree in Information Systems and certificates in Program Management and CIO, and has a proven history of enhancing safety and delivering innovative solutions.

    Jeremy Popov

    BUSINESS OPERATIONS SVP, SNC

    Jeremy brings over 20 years of aerospace and defense experience in leading Business Management, Operations, and Engineering for nearly 500 employees. Since joining SNC in 2010, Jeremy brings experience in leading global operations, distributed deliveries, and large-scale production. Jeremy excels in business development, mergers, and strategic proposals, and holds a Bachelor's in Business Administration from Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo.

    Stu Wildman

    AUKUS SVP, SNC

    Stu brings over 35 years of ISR experience, including more than 10 years at SNC where he drives advancements in sensors, processing, and ELINT systems, contributing to both domestic and international platforms. His roles have included SVP of Strategy, VP of Technology, and Business Lead for Navy sensors where he has led technical and business development across the globe. Prior to SNC, Stu spent 20 years at Lockheed Martin and served in the U.S. Air Force as a communications intelligence linguist and ELINT analyst.

    MANAGING DIRECTOR, SNC MSUK

    Hywel is a dynamic leader with over 20 years of combined military and industry experience in managing critical projects for complex missions. His forward-thinking vision and technological expertise have enabled him to successfully lead SNC's UK entity, doubling its size annually since 2019 while focusing on employing former military personnel and supporting Armed Forces Veterans. With a distinguished military background, including roles in the Parachute Brigade and UK Special Forces, Hywel has also established a Centre of Excellence for Unmanned Systems Integration and forged strategic partnerships with local universities to provide cutting-edge support for the Armed Forces.
